Food parcel distribution

Securing food is a daily priority for families living in difficult humanitarian conditions, especially when their ability to provide for their basic needs declines. Preparing a meal for the family becomes an ongoing burden when resources are scarce and expenses pile up, making direct food assistance a necessity to alleviate suffering and help families get through the most difficult times.

Within the field of relief response, HUMERA continues to implement a food basket distribution project in Sudan, with the aim of helping meet the food needs of beneficiary families and easing their living burdens. The project comes as an expression of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting those affected and providing practical assistance that responds to one of the most important requirements of a dignified life.

Through the project, HUMERA works to provide food baskets and distribute them to beneficiary families, to help them prepare their meals and cover part of their daily needs. Providing food items to families gives them the ability to use them according to the needs of their members, supporting their ability to manage their affairs and make use of the resources available to them.

This support is expected to help reduce a portion of food expenses and give families room to direct their limited resources toward other essential needs.
